Graduation photographs are a way to mark the work, friendships and changes behind a diploma. A campus landmark can be part of that story, but so can a familiar street or the people who helped you get here.
Choose the places that mean something
Start with your school and the places you associate with it. Share a short list with Ivan, then discuss a route that leaves time for photographs rather than spending the session moving between locations. Confirm access to indoor or restricted spaces ahead of time.
Think beyond the ceremony date
Your portrait session does not have to happen on graduation day. Ask about a date before or afterward if you would prefer more flexibility around your celebration. Availability, campus access and weather all help shape the plan.
Bring the people celebrating with you
Tell the studio whether you want individual portraits, photographs with family, or time with friends. Agree the group size and scope before booking so everyone knows what is included.
A few things to settle before the session
- Your school, preferred date and a practical meeting place.
- The people joining you and the photographs you most want.
- Clothes, cap and gown, and comfortable shoes for walking.
- A weather backup, delivery expectations and printing plans.
You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose. Ivan will guide the photographs. Bring your questions, your ideas and a little room to enjoy the occasion.
